Spencer: "For having good production values, convincing

well."

A
major thanks to all those who came
along to the night, as well as our supporters (see logos, right), and
CONGRATULATIONS goes to Jonathan Sequeira for his excellent 1st Prize
winning film, BLOOD OF A WOMAN!!!
The
night was a huge success, with the Valhalla Cinemas packed to the rafters.
Everyone seemed to love the films, as well as our joyous host, JACINTA
DOYLE, all the way from Ireland.
Amazingly, some of the audience even got dressed up in some fantastic
costumes, and were lucky enough to go in the chance to win some goodies,
including some very nice T-Shirts from YB BLUE (made by JeansWest), T-Shirts
and passes to the FREDDY VS. JASON movie (out now), and passes to the
new CABIN FEVER movie (out in December).
Also, in the prize giving, was the psychodrama I
CAN HELP(?) by DARRELL GILES, which took
out the Runner-Up Prize. And the very popular, and very scary, MARY
WORTH, by LUKE BANYAI won the Audience Award,
amongst a rather even voting range. It sure must have made it worth it
for the Victorian to come all the way up to Sydney!!!
And lastly, sorry to all those who weren't able to get in on the night!!
We weren't kidding when we said that "tickets are selling fast",
now, were we??
Again, a HUGE thanks to all those
who supported, sponsored, and entered the 2003
EYE SCREAM Halloween Short Film Festival. The past year
has been absolutely amazing, and we have been stunned by the support and
response we have received. Halloween is such a fun night, and it's great
to see so many others thinking the same thing, and getting into the spirit
of the fun.
The EYE SCREAM crew will be back soon with an
even bigger and better EYE SCREAM for 2004!
Have fun,
The
EYE SCREAM team.
